We will have no PEER GROUP today, as we will all be paying our respects to our brother/friend Matthew Del Solio-Bisio who was a constant at our peer group from the very beginning. Please keep his wife Rita and his friends/brothers and sisters in your prayers during this difficult time.

Today, as part of our Health & Wellness Program, we took a group of veterans to explore the scenic rail bikes at Rail Explorers Rhode Island. With the hot sun hidden behind the clouds, we enjoyed perfect weather and an incredible day pedaling along the beautiful Northern Ramble route.

Experiences like these provide opportunities for connection, recreation, and well-being while creating lasting memories among fellow veterans.

This memorable event was made possible through the support of a United Way Impact Grant. We are grateful for their commitment to helping us provide meaningful health and wellness opportunities for those who have served our country. 🇺🇸🚲

Today, we had the pleasure of taking a group of veterans kayaking on the beautiful Westport River. With perfect weather and calm waters, it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, connect with one another, and take in the natural beauty of the area.

After two hours on the river, we gathered for lunch. To make the day even more special, one of our veterans generously treated everyone to ice cream for dessert.

We would also like to thank Osprey Sea & Surf for providing the kayak rentals that helped make this outing possible.

This memorable event was made possible through the support of a United Way of Greater Fall River Impact Grant. We are grateful for the opportunity to create meaningful experiences that foster connection, wellness, and camaraderie among our veterans.
