Massachusetts Paid Leave News

Massachusetts Paid Leave News MPLC works to educate the public and policymakers about the critical need for earned sick time and p Ken Gordon in the House and Sen. Karen Spilka in the Senate.

The Mass Paid Leave Coalition is led by the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ), the community based organization that took the lead on the successful 2014 Earned Sick Time ballot campaign in Massachusetts with Mass Community Action Network (MCAN) and SEIU, as part of Raise Up Massachusetts (RUM) . CSJ is now leading the charge on the Paid Family and Medical Leave and Temporary Disability Insurance

Program (PFML/TDI) Act filed by Rep. The PFML/TDI Act will ensure that Massachusetts workers are not forced to choose between work and their own health needs or the well-being of their children and other family members. http://coalitionforsocialjustice.org/
