Flashback to Sept. 2019, when four FPUD crewmembers - Colter, Toby, Matt & Austin - volunteered to leave their families behind and make the 565-mile journey to Paradise, CA, to help restore water service after the devastating Camp Fire.
Each spent a week helping rebuild critical water infrastructure in a town that had been leveled by wildfire - not because they had to, but because that’s what public servants do.
We know firsthand that Southern California is no stranger to wildfires. When disaster strikes, neighbors helping neighbors is what keeps communities strong.
We’re proud to remember the FPUD crew who represented Fallbrook with heart and professionalism.
