Air Force officials have selected 9,706 senior airmen for promotion to staff sergeant, out of 45,991 eligible, for a selection rate of 21.1 percent in the 22E5 promotion cycle, which includes supplemental promotion opportunities. The staff sergeant promotion list will be available on the Air Force's Personnel Center website Enlisted Promotion page, the Air Force Portal and myPers August 25, 2022 at 8 a.m. CDT.

The Air Force will soon have the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine available after the U.S Food and Drug Administration authorized it for emergency use and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
This week we had the opportunity to team up with AAFES, American Tattoo Society, and the MacDill PH Flight to conduct, the 1st ever and ground breaking, Tatto Parlor Inspection training and to start the the validation process of the training/inspection protocol. Big shout out to the AAFES Team: LTC Brglez, CMSgt (Retired) Robin Williams, and SMSgt Sonja Berry. Additionally, I want to thank the MacDill Family for hosting the team and making this event exceptional.
We are continuously identifying ways to innovate and to do “What Right Looks Like”. SMSgt Berry has been running point with this project and has helped to Lead by Example and help PH progress into the future.

WRNMMC’s Infection Prevention and Control Committee Chair sheds light on monkeypox virus
The Chair of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center said the Monkeypox virus would likely not spread in the U.S. like COVID-19. She made the comments in the wake of the over 100 cases of monkeypox virus cases that have been reported in the US.

Good Day Family,
I would like to take a minute to say congratulations to Lt Marc Dennis! He is the first PH NCO to transition to a PH Officer from the Enlisted to Officer Commisioning Program in over 10 years. This process has been in the making for a few years now and we were finally able to make it happen as a career field. I am extremely excited and proud for Lt Dennis and I’m looking forward to everything he is going to accomplish in the future. Strong Work Brother and keep being an excellent example of “What Right Looks Like”!
