Performance Triad

Performance Triad Welcome to the official page for the Performance Triad, a plan to improve readiness and increase resilience through Sleep, Activity and Nutrition.
(2)

The Performance Triad is a comprehensive plan to improve readiness and increase resilience through public health initiatives and leadership engagement. The Triad is the foundation for Army Medicine's transformation to a System For Health, a partnership among Soldiers, Families, Leaders, Health Teams and Communities to promote Readiness, Resilience and Responsibility. The System For Health: MAINTAINS health through fitness and illness/injury prevention, RESTORES health through patient-centered care, and IMPROVES health through informed choices in the Lifespace. The focus of the Performance Triad is on Sleep, Activity, and Nutrition - key actions that influence health in the "Lifespace" of time that isn't spent with a healthcare provider. As a result, the biggest impact on Health is made by making better choices in our Lifespace. Terms of Use We welcome discussion and debate but always remember to practice Operations Security (OPSEC). Put simply, your VO2 max is a numerical measurement of your body’s ability to consume oxygen parameter that is affected by things like how many red blood cells you have, how adapted your muscles are to distance running, and how much blood your heart can pump. You can get yours tested, as well as your strength and flexibility by scheduling a Fit Test. SFC Lowe says he has sent many soldiers to the AWC and he also wants to stay on top of his fitness as a leader.

Ideas for celebrating the Month of the Military Child with P3 - Purple Up! https://p3.amedd.army.mil/trending-topics/celebrating-military-children-with-performance-triad

Can we discuss, or revisit if it’s already been recommended, the need to add the fourth element to the new and improved “Performance Quadrant”: Social? We emphasize its importance with many other resiliency/readiness programs, but have yet to acknowledge (at least with P3), the equal status “Social” bonds/meaningful connections shares with Sleep, Activity, and Nutrition. - Another concerned member of the Army Family, located in Fort Wainwright Alaska.
We are honored to be a part of this Veterans Day greeting with LTG Nadja West and CSM Michael Gragg.
Happy Veterans Day!
