Like fourth Saturday of every month, we will have this month Dast2Dast shelter dinner in Falls Church, VA on August 26th, providing dinner to our homeless neighbors.

Your Gifts of Joy Donation will go to support food insecure families. We are proud to partner with Yellow Boomerang (https://yellowboomerang.org/) in feeding over 700 families. These families will each receive a holiday meal kit to feed six people. Your donation will give 4,200 people a home cooked meal this holiday season.

Food insecurity is a real thing. We’re trying to fight it. With your financial support we can help 700 families have at least one nice holiday meal.

Our efforts are 100% volunteer based and our directors do not receive a salary or any other compensation. 100% of donations go directly to feeding those with food insecurity.

Holiday season is the time for giving, but not all are fortunate to share and experience this joy.

As in the years past, we are trying to raise money by 12/17/2021 to fund our annual Gifts of Joy project. This Dast2Dast project provides care packages for homeless individuals who normally don't receive gifts during the holiday season.

As this year comes to an end, we have so much to reflect back upon. For some of us it may have been an average year but unfortunately for many of us it will be a sad year to remember. This year showed us the best and the worst of mankind.
