As the Moroccan American community grows, its needs and challenges become more serious and complex. Thus the necessity to empower, organize and gather its entities around common interests has become more demanding. The Coalition of Moroccan Americans (CMA) is a non-profit organization that aims to work with Moroccan American civil society organizations to improve their efficiency and effectiveness to make greater impact on the community. CMA targets the Moroccan American civil society including non-government organizations and community leaders. Its goal is to 1. Create alliances with Moroccan American organizations to develop projects and programs to make an immediate impact on the Moroccan community; 2. Create a knowledge base and momentum for he Moroccan civil society stakeholders to come together to collectively discuss, reflect and act on the strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities; 3. Enhance the Moroccan American organizations capacity to mobilize and advocate for an expand participation in the civic, social, economic, political and religious space in both countries; 4. Create an environment for a collective reflection that involves structured dialogue among diverse civil society stakeholders to identify their specific strengths and weaknesses; 5. Bring Moroccan American Civil Society Organizations together to address the community development by establishing the common agenda, and specific and measurable outcomes; 6. Increase capacity for Moroccan community to play strategic role in the decision-making institutions in US and Morocco; 7. Create synergy between Moroccan American Civil Society Organizations in the United States and abroad to share their expertize and experiences; 8. Contribute to preserve and strengthen the Moroccan American Unity; 9. Develop a greater awareness and promotes better understanding of the Moroccan culture in the USA.

Mission: The mission of the Coalition of Moroccan Americans (CMA) is to work with the Moroccan American civil society organizations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their work.
