The Army Nurse Corps (ANC) is a profession of lifelong learners in pursuit of higher education and leading the way!

We are excited to highlight Colonel Maria Bruton for recently graduating from Texas A&M with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree! For the past three years while earning her DNP, COL Bruton has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership, serving as both the Army Nurse Corps Specific Branch Proponency Officer (AN CSBPO) and the Chief Nursing Officer at Brooke Army Medical Center. Her commitment to the Corps and countless hours dedicated to her studies are truly inspiring. She joins the ranks of other ANC leaders who have also achieved their dreams.

As we share this story, we hope it serves as inspiration for others to reach their full potential and pursuit of higher education while leading in the Army Nurse Corps!
