There's nothing like a little teamwork! At William Penn Middle School, students in Mrs. Temme's math class worked together to balance as many cups as possible on one teammate while they held a position for 60 seconds. The catch? Only hands and feet could touch the floor.

Communication, strategizing, problem-solving, teamwork, and a little bit of physicality = fun in math class!

As we settle into the first week of school, we would like to thank the community once again for its support of our annual Start School Write event. From school supplies to haircuts, this event served over 700 students and helped them start the year off on the right foot!

We couldn't have done it without the support of Pennsbury Kids, Cops 'n' Kids Delaware Valley, Taryn Hickman and Greater Philadelphia area La-Z-Boy, Shiv Patel and Mathnasium of Langhorne, and the following hair stylists:

Pennsbury High School Project Video Update #9, September 2, 2026

The rain continues to give our drainage basins a good test. Despite the recent weather, the project remains on schedule.
In this weeks video you will see:

-Earthwork has started in the area that will become the gymnasium and pool area parking.
-Surveying for the building corners and layout of the building’s footings has started.
-Drainage work continues across the site.

And some things completed that you might not be able to see:
-Construction site security lighting is being installed.
-Safety and security measures along the internal access road.
-Contractor entrance installed to separate construction traffic from student activities along the access road.

Coming soon:
-Preparation for concrete delivery.
-Underground electrical work across the site.

We remain on schedule and on budget for a September 2029 opening and look forward to sharing weekly updates as construction progresses. 1,090 days to August 27, 2029!
