Pendleton County Ambulance was invited to participate in Ag Safety Day for Northern and Southern third-grade students. Crews took time to engage with the students, providing hands-on education about ambulance equipment and how it’s used in emergencies. Students were also given the opportunity to tour the ambulance and see the inside up close.

Air Evac 133 also made a special appearance, allowing students to see the helicopter and learn about air medical transport.

PCATD is proud to announce the purchase of 2 new Ventilators! These ventilators will greatly improve patient care. They will allow paramedics the ability to place the patient on BIPAP, breathe for an intubated patient, and breathe for the patient during CPR. This allows the patient to always receive the proper amount of oxygen needed for their condition. The Hamilton T1 ventilator will also be compatible with Air Evac 133. Employees have undergone 4 days of training including scenario based training. They will be getting put into service on the ambulances soon. A big thanks goes out to Drew Forehand with Hamilton for the great training classes along with our board for approving to purchase these vital pieces of equipment!
