10 years ago (next month), Rob and I had the amazing opportunity to meet Martin Luther, Jr.’s niece, Dr. Alveda C. King - a proud Republican.
After an intimate meet and greet, and a melancholy tour, she then led us on a walk to a wonderful reception where she proudly spoke about her amazing Republican uncle - in front of hundreds of other Republicans - and she never feared if anyone in attendance thought he, or she, was “Republican enough.”
