Due to the winter weather advisory, the Pendleton Co. Attorney’s office will not open Monday, Mar. 2, until 10 a.m.

The Pendleton County Attorney’s office will be closed on Feb 23 2026 due to inclement weather and staff illness. We will reopen Feb 24. Stay safe!

There will be no District Court tomorrow, Jan. 27 2026. The circuit clerk’s office will send reschedule dates to everyone. If the clerk doesn’t have your current address, you might want to wait until Friday and give them a call.

The PC Attorney’s office is closed tomorrow (Jan 26 26) due to snow emergency. I’ll let everyone know about District Court on 1/27 as soon as I hear news.

Pendleton County has declared a State of Emergency due to the severe winter storm forecast for our area and the negative impacts it may create.

This allows the county to utilize all available resources and request additional resources if necessary.

Travel may become impossible and power outages are a possibility. Please plan to stay off the roads over the weekend and prepare now for this major winter storm.

I want to thank the people of Pendleton County for voting for me in 2018 as your County Attorney. Yesterday, at the filing deadline, I was the only candidate registered for the next 4 year term, which will be my third term to serve you. Part of me hopes that the reason I am the only candidate is that the majority of people believe that I am carrying this responsibility and fulfilling the role as I promised you 8 years ago. The photo below is my swearing in at the Kentucky Capitol in 1994, and my first ad in 2018. I have added them to demonstrate to you that on that day, in 1994, I took my oath as an attorney seriously and my goal was to be a prosecutor. The ad shows the promises I made to you 7 years ago. As I enter my 8th year of office, I believe we have worked very hard and have improved a great many things in our Court system here. I have tried cases, convicted some, and gave others the second chance through drug court, my diversion program, or probation to address issues which were the contributing cause of their criminal activity. Most important of all, I strive every day to do JUSTICE. Again, thank you for your confidence in me.
