We hope that all of our kids enjoyed their time learning and meeting new friends. Thanks again to the team of people who make this happen each year, to the parents/caregivers who take the time to bring kids to the office each day, and to the kids who come ready to put on their thinking caps and put their best foot forward! You guys ROCK! 👊 Pendleton County Public Library SFRYSC - South Family Resource Youth Services Center

𝑫𝒂𝒚 2 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒚 and *WOW* did our campers show up!

Today, our groups made weather wheels, read "The Crayons Love Our Planet," and created pudding snacks while learning about soil layers. They also investigated Aissatou's 4-H worm farm and looked at how worms help compost and add to soil health. 🪱 To round things off, they used manipulatives to sort "trash" into recycling categories and really just had the BEST day singing, making friends, and learning all the things! From the moment campers arrived, the energy, laughter, and excitement never stopped. Our campers showed off their patriotic spirit in the best way on ’Merica Monday with red, white, and blue outfits, big smiles, and tons of camp pride! ❤️🤍💙

The week was packed full of fun activities, adventures, friendly competition, and opportunities to try something new. Whether it was swimming, fishing, recreation, classes, singing songs, late-night laughs in the cabins, or cheering each other on during games, memories were made at every turn.

One of the best parts of camp week was gathering around the campfire — singing camp songs, making s’mores, and spending time with friends both old and new. There’s just something special about campfire memories that campers will carry with them for years to come.

Camp is more than just fun activities — it’s about building confidence, friendships, leadership skills, and unforgettable experiences. We are so proud of all of our campers for stepping outside their comfort zones, encouraging one another, and truly embracing the 4-H spirit all week long.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our counselors, volunteers, parents, and staff who helped make this week possible. Pendleton County 4-H Camp 2026 was one for the books, and we already can’t wait until next year!

Day one of Kindergarten Camp was a success! Our campers enjoyed crafting by spelling their names in ice cream scoops, small-group reading, having a scavenger hunt, practicing their colors and numbers, and snacking with "Bears on a Beach!"

We love when the Pendleton County Extension building is full of kids, and we can't wait for Day 2!
