🌾 Where in the world was your Pendleton County Ag Agent in June?
Let’s just say… on the move for agriculture, youth, and community!
Here’s a look at a jam-packed month full of impact and partnerships:
🧑🌾 Ag Council gathered to not only guide programming but also to update the County Ag Development Comprehensive Plan—laying the groundwork for the future of local ag.
🥾 PENco Hikers hit the trail in Morehead, visited Minor E. Clark Fish Hatchery, and soaked in the beauty (and some ice cream) while learning along the way.
🥩 Cattlemen’s Ball was a huge success, raising over $2,500 for youth in agriculture scholarships—a night of great food, friends, and giving back!
🌊 Riversweep turned out an amazing crowd for a community-wide cleanup in memory of our friend Boo—thank you to the many partners who made it meaningful and impactful.
🎪 Pendleton County Youth Fair was full of heart, with local youth raising and showing 53 outstanding animals, backed by strong community support.
🌿 Food & Garden Trails took us to Bernheim Forest and the James B. Beam Distilling Co., blending ecology, education, and agriculture.
🚜 Tractor Driving Contests showcased skill and safety at both county and area levels—youth proved they’re ready to take the wheel.
👧 4-H Camp brought smiles, leadership growth, and unforgettable experiences for our next generation.
🎓 At the KACAA Annual Meeting, Lindie proudly serves on the Board of Directors, continuing to advocate for Kentucky ag agents statewide.
🐃 And on the national stage in Montana, three Pendleton County programs were named national finalists at NACAA, with a runner-up finish in Ag Appreciation & Awareness!
💚 June reminded us what’s possible when farmers, families, and community come together. Grateful to serve such a strong and supportive county!
❤️🤍💙 Now heres to July and more action packed programs!
