Don’t forget that Disasters Don’t Stand a Chance will be taking place tomorrow at the Pendleton County Senior Center from 10:00 AM - Noon.

This interactive and fun program will help participants learn about emergency preparedness and how to be ready for unexpected situations.

Today, we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who have shared their wisdom, strength, and love with those around them.

We are blessed to know so many incredible men whose stories, guidance, humor, and kindness have made a lasting impact on their families and our community.

Thank you for the lessons you’ve taught, the memories you’ve created, and the love you’ve given through the years.

We hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day surrounded by family, friends, and all the people who mean the most to you.

⚠️ Due to the power outage affecting the City of Falmouth, the Senior Center will be CLOSED today. ⚠️

Please use caution if you need to be out and about, and stay safe as crews work to restore power.

🇺🇸❤️ What a wonderful day at the Senior Center! ❤️🇺🇸

Today, we got creative making patriotic t-shirts, enjoyed our snack bar, and spent time doing what we do best—laughing, visiting, and making memories together.

The shirts turned out great, but the best part of the day was the conversations, stories, and friendships shared around the table. There were plenty of laughs and lots of smiles!

Days like today remind us that the Senior Center is about so much more than activities—it’s about connection, friendship, and enjoying time together.

Change of plans for tomorrow!

We were scheduled to tour the new Pendleton County Fire Department, but the building isn’t quite ready for visitors yet. We look forward to touring it once everything is complete!

Since we suddenly have some extra time on our hands, we’re hoping to put that time to good use by getting started on our greenhouse project!

We’re excited to take another step toward making this dream a reality and can’t wait to see it begin to come together.

Looking for a way to get creative, make new friends, and brighten someone’s day? 🎨

Today is the day! Join us for Crafters Club at 10:30 AM at the Pendleton County Senior Center!

Each month, the CAC RSVP Program partners with the Senior Center to host this special group. Participants come together to create crafts that are then delivered to the residents of River Valley Nursing Home.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to socialize, connect with others, and make a difference in someone’s day. There’s nothing better than knowing a handmade craft can bring a smile to a nursing home resident.

Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just looking to try something new, Crafters Club is all about friendship, fun, and giving back to our community.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

At the senior center, we are especially grateful for the veterans, military families, and loved ones in our community who remind us daily of the true meaning of service and sacrifice.

As we gather with family and friends, may we also take a moment to reflect on those who gave everything for our country. ❤️🤍💙
