On a recent walk through the Francis A. Crane Wildlife Management Reserve in Hatchville, James Hathaway stopped cold and held up his hand. “Do you hear that?” he asked.

I am popping this to the top of the page. It has been nearly 9 weeks since the Covid 19 situation has put us all into a different than our normal, life pattern. Since then more and more people have found the FA Crane WMA and are taking advantage of this great resource,. Others, not the majority I am sure, are violating the regulations. The rules are simple. Take out nothing you didn't bring in. Leave nothing you brought. Keep your dog on a leash and clean up after your dog. Take it HOME. Do not interfere with hunters or licensed hunters training their hunting dogs. Unfortunately some new users have torn down the signs that list the use regulations and the Leash Law.

Stay safe.

Just got an Idea from a Falmouth Discussion Fb page. Anyone willing to donate a trail cam or two? I will put them up in the parking areas at Crane and monitor them. Maybe we can catch a dumper or two.
