🇺🇸 History happened right here!

Join us on Thursday, July 23rd at 7 PM for an illustrated presentation with historian Julie Diddell of the Washington–Rochambeau Trail Alliance of New Jersey. Discover the incredible story of the 1781 march of American and French troops that led to the victory at Yorktown — and helped secure American independence.

You’ll learn how General George Washington and French commander Rochambeau traveled through communities across New Jersey (including right here in Fanwood!) on their way south to victory.

From historic roads and taverns to living history events and commemorative marches, this program brings the Revolutionary War to life in a whole new way.

Perfect for history buffs, local history lovers, and anyone celebrating America 250!🇺🇸📜
