In light of what’s happening we came together as two organizations that advocate for mental health & youth empowerment, to send out this message for anyone whose feeling like they want to give up. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We know people have lost their jobs , family members and even uncertainty with being enrolled in school especially international students across the globe. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The cliche statement that everyone is hearing over and over is “ we’re all in this together.” - we absolutely know that’s easier said than done BUT in the atmosphere of chaos the human spirit has never been more united . ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
we are sending love & peace to everyone who maybe suffering in silence. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Feel free to message us if you need to talk // help with resources // just to say hey I’m here and I’m living through it - we are here to listen ⁣⁣

We at Young Kenyans United send our heartfelt wishes to all families who have lost loved ones in last Sunday's tragic road accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in Naivasha involving a fuel tanker. This is an utterly devastating and shocking tragedy that claimed 42 innocent souls. Our kindest wishes and sympathy goes out to all those people who also witnessed this tragic accident and to the injured, we hope each day brings you renewed strength and that much closer to recovery. YKU is more than ready to offer assistance to our brothers and sisters whenever needed. May God bless our beloved country and her people.
