Thanks to Secretary Adam Telle, Senator John Hoeven, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak, Maj. Gen. Jason Kelly, The City of Fargo - Government Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney, Mayor Shelly Carlson - Moorhead, MN, City of West Fargo - Government Mayor Bernie Dardis, MFDA Board members and distinguished guests for helping us mark the signing of a new Project Partnership Agreement amendment. The PPA outlines the working agreement between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District and the FM Area Diversion's non-federal sponsors, including the Metro Flood Diversion Authority, City of Moorhead, Minnesota, City of Fargo, Cass County, Clay County and the Cass County Joint Water Resource District. The amendment allows $100 million in funds that were not spent on the federal project portions to transfer this year to the MFDA. This money will help mitigation projects move forward.
