A special moment worth celebrating 💙

One of Erica’s participants recently completed her 6-hour Empower training with Down Home and received her certificate. On reveal day, Down Home helped put a big smile on her face, and her exact words were, “This is what I’m always looking for.”

Moments like this remind us how meaningful support, encouragement, and opportunity can be. We are proud to celebrate milestones like these and the growth that comes with them.

Last Thursday, we had the opportunity to attend the Fair Chance Job Fair at the local Fargo Workforce Center.

This event was created to support individuals who may face barriers to employment, including homelessness, lack of education, recent dislocation, or a criminal background.

We loved being there, connecting with the community, and sharing resources with people taking important steps forward in their employment journey. We are grateful for opportunities like this to support hope, growth, and new beginnings. 💙
