The North Dakota National Guard welcomed Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Gen. Steven Nordhaus to Grand Forks to share how we are innovating and preparing for future missions. The General met with senior leaders and later engaged with soldiers and airmen at a town hall event. It was a great opportunity to meet and interact with the National Guard's leader.

This week the 119th Wing hosted Ghana Armed Forces senior leaders during an exchange through the State Partnership Program (SPP). The SPP is a cooperation program between the National Guard Bureau, Combatant Commands, and Parter Nation Embassy, intended to foster enduring relationships with partner countries and improve interoperability. During this visit, Major General Lawrence Kwaku Selormey Gbetanu and his team received briefings on the unit's missions, toured the operations group hangar, and shared a lunch with Wing commander, Colonel Chris Domitrovich and other 119th senior leaders.

Happy Hooligan Airmen from the 119th Medical Group and 119th Force Support Squadron recently completed a medical mission to northern Arkansas July 13-27. Operation Buffalo River Wellness provided no-cost medical, dental, optometry, and behavioral health services to underserved populations in the state. The mission was part of the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program that delivers training opportunities to increase deployment readiness, while simultaneously supporting communities in need.

The Happy Hooligans welcomed the Employer Support for Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to the 119th Wing for a "Lunch with the boss" yesterday! We couldn't do the amazing things we do without the support from employers!
The ESGR is a Department of Defense office that develops and promotes supportive work environments for service members in the Reserve Components through outreach, recognition and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws.

The 119th Civil Engineering Squadron recently completed a successful deployment for training (DFT) mission at Kunsan Air Force Base, South Korea. During their rotation from July16-30 rotation, the Hooligan civil engineers rebuilt C-Huts on the base, showcasing their expertise and dedication throughout the mission.
