I would just like to Thank everyone for supporting our local volunteer fire dept last night at our annual fundraiser. Your generous donations are much appreciated and made our event successful. It wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of the volunteers, volunteers wives, donors, sponsors and last but not least the fine folks of the Fargo community. Once again THANK YOU for your support.

As most of you know last night the Fargo Fire Dept activated our tornado sirens after the national weather service issued a tornado warning for the Fargo area. Luckily the storm didn’t produce a tornado in our area. The storm with circulation passed north east of Fargo with a significant wall cloud and lowering. As we all know this time of year the weather can be unpredictable and things can get dangerous in a hurry like last night. With that being said please have a plan for you and your family if the need arises. Pay close attention to weather radios, TV stations, radio stations and law fire and law enforcement broadcasts. We are very careful on implementing the use of our storm sirens and when we do we mean business. Be prepared to shelter long before the sirens go off because alot of times there may only be minutes before you or your family is in danger. If you hear the sirens sounding that means take immediate shelter.
We are gonna have mutiple chances for severe storms over the next couple of months so if you dont have an emergency action plan today is the day to come up with one for you and your family.
Thanks and be SAFE,
Steve Stewart
