4-H Youth Development in Cass County is a community of young people ages 5-18 learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H members participate in fun, hands-on learning activities with focuses on science, engineering and technology, healthy living, and citizenship. Traditional clubs, special interest clubs and afterschool clubs offer meetings, community service and a variety of events an
d activities engage youth, enabling them to have fun, meet new friends and learn new skills. Adult volunteer leaders teach projects to youth using the "learn-by-doing" method. NDSU Extension Service 4-H is the largest and the only research based youth organization in the state.
