We're excited to share some of the organizations and community resources that will be joining us for our 2026 Freedom Resource Fair! 🎉

Come connect with local organizations, learn about programs and services, ask questions, and discover resources available throughout our community. We will have organizations from both North Dakota and Minnesota, with resources for people of all ages.

Check out the vendors joining us so far.

And we're still adding to the list. If your organization provides a service, program, or resource that helps people with disabilities live more independently, access their community, improve their quality of life, or achieve their goals...become a vendor! There are a few days left to register.

Thanks to the support of our amazing community we just donated our 740th vehicle to someone in need!

A big THANK YOU to Gateway Chevrolet Cadillac of Fargo for donating this well maintained vehicle to our ministry!

The recipient is a local individual working with Freedom Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc. She herself is on disability and has become guardian over her adult niece who experienced a stroke. This vehicle will allow them better access to medical/Doctor appointments plus provide for their stability and independence.

Thank you to our amazing community, partners, donors and volunteers for helping make this vehicle donation possible. Thank you once again to Gateway Chevrolet for their generosity and partnership! 🙌🏼

This event brings together organizations, businesses, and service providers from North Dakota and Minnesota to connect with community members and share valuable resources that support independence, inclusion, accessibility, and overall well-being.

♿ You see them every day... but have you ever stopped to think about why they're there?

Many of the accessibility features we encounter every day have become more common because of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

From automatic doors and accessible parking to Braille signage, elevators, closed captions, and accessible restrooms, these features help remove barriers and create opportunities for people with disabilities to participate more fully in their communities.

Accessibility isn't just about meeting requirements. It's about creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, included, and able to participate.

The best part? Many accessibility features benefit everyone, making our communities easier to navigate for parents with strollers, travelers with luggage, older adults, and so many others.

As we celebrate the 36th anniversary of the ADA this month, let's recognize the impact accessibility has on our everyday lives and continue working toward communities where everyone belongs.
