Marine Officer Semper Fi Society The Marine Officer is a leader, a warrior, and an upstanding citizen instilled with a special trust and confidence of our nation to lead.

This program is an excellent and competitive opportunity for those interested in becoming an officer and serving their country. The Marine Officer Program is designed to find highly qualified college students who want to serve as officers of Marines. The program is competitive and highly selective. Here are some basics about the program:

• No obligation: We want you to want to be here. If you get

selected and do not make it through training or if you quit, there is no obligatory service
• Over 20 ground officer positions ranging from intelligence, infantry, logistics, engineering, to air traffic control
• Guaranteed aviation
• Leadership responsibilities and opportunities that commonly take years to develop
• College freshman through college graduates can apply
• The chance to do something few could ever do

Here are some basic qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen
• Must have a competitive GPA
• Must be in excellent physical condition (or willing to get there)
• Be a man or woman of exemplary character

The interview serves two purposes: first, to give us an idea of how competitive you would be for the program and second, to give you the information necessary to decide if this program is right for you.

Officer Selection Team Fargo' s very own Donte Stevens highlighted in Mayville's news letter for his outstanding performance while a student and athlete over the last 4 years. Donte is now pursuing a career as a Marine Officer. If selected on this upcoming board Donte will go to OCS and Commission as a 2ndLt in the United States Marine Corps.

Come check us out at the UND Student Aviation Management Association annual conference and career fair! The fair is taking place on April 13th 2018. We will be having a flight simulator this year to showcase careers available in Marine Corps Aviation!
