Early voting has started, so before you head out to vote this week please use the non-partisan sites like the one offered by the League of Women Voters North Dakota to understand who or what you might be voting for.

I say this because there are several local pages on this app that use wildly false, inflammatory, deceptive and just wrong information to gain attention and take charge of a narrative. One today posted by Fargo First about the needle exchange program and Fargo's harm reduction efforts was filled with inaccuracies. Along with other posts where they target the opposition with false stories.

Knowing the information they post was wrong, would that make you question the rest of their posts? That maybe if something sounds crazy maybe the author made it up to gain attention and make you mad? Dont fall for it.

Our goal is to provide voters with better information in which they can make an informed decision

Vote on or before June 9! Did you know North Dakota is the only state without registration? You may vote in ND if you are at least 18, a U.S. Citizen, and have lived in ND for 30 days.

You'll need to bring a North Dakota Drivers License, a Non-Driver ID, a Tribal ID, or a Long-Term Care Certificate

There are many important races up and down the ballot, and they're often decided by a handful of votes! Make your voice heard!
