NDSU researchers evaluated 90 soybean varieties this year to determine their tolerance to Iron Deficiency Chlorosis. The results can help producers identify soybean varieties with better IDC tolerance when making variety decisions for the 2027 growing season.
“Choosing soybean varieties that are less susceptible to IDC is the first step in addressing this issue,” says Ana Carcedo, NDSU Extension broadleaf crops agronomist.
