Congratulations to Lincoln Elementary student, Khaleesi Hagel!

We are excited to introduce the 2027 Ambassador Candidates!

Khaleesi Hagel is the 7 year old daughter of Elishia Cooper and Adam Hagel of Faribault. This fall she will be a 3rd grader at Lincoln Elementary. Khaleesi's favorite subject in school is math. Outside of school Khaleesi enjoys swimming and dance. Khaleesi's favorite memory from the fair is riding the Ferris Wheel. When she is at the fair, Khaleesi enjoys riding all the rides on the Midway. Khaleesi would like to be one of the 2027 Rice County Fair Junior Ambassadors because she enjoyed being a candidate last summer and would like to do it again. Khaleesi is sponsored by Homefront Exteriors, LLC.

Congratulations to Lincoln Elementary Student, Henry Tusa!

We are excited to introduce the 2027 Rice County Fair Ambassador Candidates!

Henry Tusa is the 8 year old son of Michael and Angie Tusa of Faribault. This fall he will be a 3rd grader at Lincoln Elementary and his favorite subject in school is math. Outside of school, Henry enjoys participating in Little Falcons Sports - Basketball, Track, Football and church. Henry loves to be creative at Kids World. Henry's favorite memory from the fair is making a fairy garden with his grandma each year and bringing it to show at the fair, one year he earned 2nd place for his project. When Henry is at the fair, he enjoys going on all the rides, eating cheese curds and ice cream, and visiting all the animals in the barns. Henry is interested in becoming a 2027 Rice County Fair Junior Ambassador after seeing his older brother be the first boy Ambassador in 2024 and he would like to be involved with the Ambassadors as well. Henry has seen how the Ambassadors meet new people and help out in the community and he would like to be involved in those activities and learn more about his community as a 2027 Junior Ambassador. Henry is sponsored by Gracie Lou M & H too.

Our students had a great time participating in this year’s Farm Tours! Students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about agriculture, animals, and the hard work that helps feed our communities. Thank you to all of the local farms and volunteers who made this experience possible! 💚

We would like to send a message of gratitude to all of our families who truly showed up to provide treats for our staff appreciation potluck last week. We had so many families contribute food, snacks, desserts, and much more! Thank you all for celebrating our awesome Lincoln staff.

Faribault Public Schools is proud to announce that Allison Sweeney, current Assistant Principal at Faribault High School, has been selected as the next principal of Lincoln Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8!

The PTO would like to have a Trail Mix bar in the lounge for staff. They are looking for families to donate items.

If you are able to donate please have the item here by the end of the day on Friday May 1st.

Here is a list of things they are looking for:

Sunflower seeds

We can’t wait to see everyone at our Glow Dance tomorrow night from 5-7pm.

There will be free activities for families to do along with items and food for purchase.

All proceeds support the Lincoln PTO.

(Students do have to have an adult with them)

Reminder of McTeacher Night at Faribault McDonald's tonight from 5-7pm. 15% of all Mobile App and Kiosk orders between 5-7pm will go back to the Lincoln PTO.

Stop into the restaurant and use a Kiosk to order or use the Mobile App and pick up in store or in the drive thru.
