So back in March at our retired Chiefs funeral we had a bald eagle flying over us. Looking up some info it is believed that it was a sign of our loved one watching over us. A few days pass and someone dropped off this Eagle. He needed painted and some love. He received the love he deserved thanks to our local artist Sarah Campbell. With her amazing ability he looks awesome. We can not say thank you enough for the amazing work. Last night the final piece of the tribute was added.

Farina Fire Department was called to a structure fire at approximately 7 am on March 29. Upon arrival the call was made immediately for multiple agencies to assist with this incident. The fire is currently under investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshal office. Until the investigation is complete we are unable to comment further. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families impacted by this fire.
