Did you know...

As a part of registration, incoming freshmen are required to have an up to date physical. This physical can also be utilized for any sports they may join throughout the year.

For sophomores, juniors, and seniors, they also need an up to date physical to participate in athletics, but is not a required part of registration.

These physicals are good for 13 months from the date they were seen by a physician.

In an attempt to streamline the process and keep students in class during the school year and available for practice at the start of their seasons, we highly encourage families to consider scheduling an annual physical during the summer months. These physicals can be turned in to the office staff at the start of the school year (prior to the start of their sport season).

Congratulations to our All-Conference athletes! We are incredibly proud to have three Blue Ridge softball players recognized by the Lincoln Prairie Conference this season.

Addison Roos earned 1st Team All-Conference honors, Olivia Jones was selected to the 2nd Team All-Conference, and Karlee Fenton received All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition.

With 38 athletes nominated for just 22 all-conference team positions, this is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and competitiveness these athletes showed throughout the season.

Congratulations, ladies, and thank you for representing Blue Ridge softball with pride!

This week, during our Mini Band Camp, anyone who is interested in color guard is invited to come and spend time with us learning about marching band, meeting the returning members, and checking out what it is about. There is no experience needed at all- just a willingness to compete, learn a new skill, and have fun! We will meet in the band room at BRHS.
