Update!!!!

The phone and internet have been fixed.

Public Service Announcement!!!

The recent storm knocked out the police department and city hall phones and internet.

Our computer company is diligently working on acquiring the needed hardware to remedy the situation. Hopefully the phones and internet will be back up sometime tomorrow; however we do not have a definitive time line yet.

You can still call the city hall number 1-309-928-3413 and leave messages but we are unable to answer the phone and may not see the messages in timely manner as we need internet to read them.

The non emergency police number 1-309-928-2111 is still operational and will still ring into dispatch.

We will try and keep you posted as the situation develops and ask for your patience on the matter.

Weather Update!!!

We have trees down and power out in different parts of the city. The city crews are out and working hard. Please stay home as we still have trees limbs falling and we’re still checking the area for down lines and trees.

Are you tired of your kids asking you when the pool will be open? . Mine have been driving me crazy this morning lol. Dad is the storm gonna stop? Did they close for the day?
