As our Children's Summer Programs come to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing community for making this summer such a wonderful success!!

To all the families who participated, the volunteers who gave their time, and everyone who supported our programs- Thank you for helping create a summer filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and fun for our young readers.

A very special thank you to our First Responders for taking time to visit with our children, share about the important work you do, and help make our programs both educational and memorable. We also want to express a sincere appreciation to the Farmersville Quilt Guild for sharing your talents, generosity, and love of quilting with our community.

Your kindness, partnership, and support make our library a special place. We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and generous community.

Thank you for making this summer one to remember-we can't wait to see everyone back at the library soon! 📚🥰

📚🚒🚓 Story Time with Farmersville's First Responders! 🚓🚒📚

Bring the kids and join the Farmersville Fire Department and the Farmersville Police Department for a fun-filled afternoon at the Rike Memorial Library!

📅 Date: Wednesday, July 8
🕐 Time: 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Rike Memorial Library

Our firefighters and police officers will be reading stories to the kiddos, followed by an opportunity to meet your local first responders!

After story time, children will have the chance to:
🚒 Explore a real fire truck
🚓 Check out a police squad car
👨‍🚒👮 Meet the men and women who proudly serve our community
📸 Take photos and ask questions

This is a great opportunity for children to learn about fire and police safety, build positive relationships with first responders, and enjoy an afternoon of fun!
