* Partnering with Chamber, City, and Downtown Merchants for cooperative Marketing and collaborative activities
* Promotes downtown as a filming location and a conference meeting location. Economic Restructuring -
* Promoting heritage tourism and encouraging investment in historic preservation
* Small business skills information and seminars for local business owners

Organization -
* Main Street coordinates with local groups and clubs to ensure that everyone is working toward our city’s common goals
* Main Street Volunteers contribute over 1,000 hours every year
* Communication of goals and progress through website, correspondence, E-news, and publications
* Assisting with the development of the new Farmersville Heritage Museum
*Farmersville is one of 87 Texas Main Street cities
* Farmersville has been recognized as a National Main Street City for the years 2001-2016
* Numerous restorations of historic down-town buildings have been completed
* Recipient of “Preserve America Community” designation
