The Board of Fire Commissioners would like to thank all the Voters that came out, or mailed in, thier votes in support of the 2026 Fire District Budget. The Budget passed by a very good margin.
We would also like to congratulate Carmelo LaMarca and Timothy McKay for being elected to seats on the Board. Here's to a safe 2026.

Fire Commissioner Election and Budget Voting this Saturday, February 21st from 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Adelphia Fire Company Station 2, 993 Route 33, across from The Cabin Restaurant. Your Fire Commissioners have worked diligently to maintain the best fire protection possible. Our taxable rate has increased modestly from 0.0340 per $100 in valuation to 0.0402. This amounts to a $5 per year increase for a $750,000 home. This is necessary to replace a 30-year-old tower ladder and a 47-year-old tractor for our water tanker. Apparatus costs have skyrocketed and exceeded our capital reserves. The Fire District and the all volunteer Adelphia Fire Company appreciate your support!
