Farmingdale Fire Department Faithfully Serving Monmouth County Since 1903. We are strictly a volunteer fire department, on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Designated at the Farmingdale Hook & Ladder Co. #1 in 1903, our department has been faithfully protecting the lives and property of Farmingdale and Howell residents for over 100 years. Our mission is to protect lives and property from the ravages of fire. We are a small department compared to our neighboring companies, but we always get out and help get the job done!

Yesterday was the Putting It All Together Day at the Monmouth County Fire Academy, and our probie, Paul Lampe, finally got to put all his skills to the test! He’s been a junior firefighter with us for years, and he has been in the FF1/FF2 program for months. It’s all been building to this, and we are very excited for him to be finishing up his basic training. Good work, Paul! Keep it up! 🔥🫡
