Farmington Early Childhood Center Farmington Early Childhood Center is a place where children are loved, guided and encouraged to learn We also have care available before and after school.

We are a preschool program serving children from ages 2.5 to 5.years old. We have half day and full day classes, 2 to 5 days per week, tuition and grant programs. We are a part of the Farmington Public School system, and we work together to prepare children for school.

We rocked Reading Month! We are learning ALL the time...but in March we focus on the joy of reading! We encouraged our families to read lots of books, color silly faces on a reading sheet and send them back to school. Then we got to move Pete the Cat (who looks a lot like Mr. Schneider!) along the "reading road". Our goal was 4,000 books...and we did it! There were lots of great literacy activities going on in our classrooms, and even in the science room and the gym! Here are just a few ways we celebrated reading!
