I am saddened that I will be attending a funeral for a young man suffering from Depression. I feel strongly that our country should be doing more research into mental illness and how to help people who suffer with this. Seems ironic to me that at times the medication people are being given for depression can actually cause suicidal ideation! It makes no sense to me! There needs to be other ways of helping people cope. Please support any legislation promoting support for Mental Health.

This was my father and I on our wedding day❤️ He passed away before my 1st wedding anniversary. I’m especially remembering him on Father’s Day, not only because he was my father, but he was my inspiration to become a nurse, so many years ago!
