FPL Summer Reading Program

FPL Summer Reading Program The Farmington Public Library has a summer reading program every June, starting on the last day of school and running for 8 weeks.

The program has come to it’s end, August 6th. I am grateful to all who participated. The final tally came to 5063 points. With the incentive to read to a dog or about dogs, 334 books were read. 146 children signed up and 125 reported reading and it all went by too quickly. I hope you will continue to come to the library throughout the school year and join us again next summer for more summer reading fun,

Week Five
143 have signed up with 112 reporting reading to equal 3117 points. Three more weeks to go, make your reading count by adding your points to our total.

Week Four, the halfway mark and a big leap of 1241 points giving us a total of 2543 points read by the 100 who reported reading out of the 140 that have signed up. Thanks to all the participants and their parents.

Week Three
Mallett School Summer Learning classes joined in adding 16 more to our roster. We have 134 signed up, 64 reported reading a total of 1302 points. Keep up the good work and remember to keep track and give me your weekly totals.

We have 110 signed up and 57 reported reading a total of 880 points. We will have our first 1000 by July.
