To celebrate Library Card Sign Up Month, The Farmington Libraries are inviting residents of all ages to participate in The Great Rubber Duck Hunt beginning on Tuesday, September 1 at 12:00 PM.
Fifty green rubber ducks, each sporting a special blue “Return to The Farmington Libraries” ribbon, will be hidden in public spaces throughout Farmington and Unionville. Lucky community members who find a duck are invited to bring their new companion back to the library
How it Works:
Find a duck!: Ducks will be located in public spaces and not on private property.
Visit the Library: Bring the duckie to either library location and show a staff member.
Snap & Tag: Take a photo with your duckie at either library location and tag on Facebook or Instagram.
Keep Your Duckie: Once you’ve shown us your find and snapped your photo, the duckie is yours to keep as a souvenir of your adventure!
Grand Prize Raffle: Every successful duck finder will be entered into a raffle to win a Farmington Libraries swag bag. Drawing is limited to one duck per person. The winner will be drawn on Thursday, October 1.
