PATH - People Assisting the Homeless We are a non-profit organization providing services to the homeless and disadvantaged. or PATH.

PATH provides services for over 800 clients staying at the shelter an estimated 20,000 nights per year, and serves over 30,000 meals through our Daily Bread Program. The Emergency Shelter was opened in 1984 by the San Juan Council of Community Agencies of Farmington, New Mexico and in 1992 the organization became People Assisting the Homeless, Inc. Throughout the years the shelter has undergone ma

ny changes and is now assisting persons experiencing homelessness with a comprehensive program which works to address the needs and barriers for persons experiencing homelessness in our community. It is our vision to “provide opportunities for homeless individuals and families to transform their lives by learning to believe in themselves and realize their potential.”

Through activities which support the mission and vision we hope to reduce homelessness in our community which can improve the lives of future generations.

Dear friends, partner agencies and community members,

On behalf of People Assisting the Homeless, we are excited to announce our upcoming community event, the 2nd Annual Party in the Park, taking place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Berg Park Pavilion.

This special event will bring together families, community members, and local supporters for a day filled with fun, entertainment, and community connection. More importantly, the event will help raise funds to support our mission and the programs we provide throughout the year to assist individuals and families in need.

We look forward to celebrating with our community and making this year’s Party in the Park an even greater success.

Our nonprofit is seeking a dependable and compassionate cook to help prepare meals that support our community and mission. If you enjoy cooking with purpose and making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

✨ Responsibilities:
• Prepare nutritious, high-quality meals
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow food safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers

📍 Location: Farmington NM

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to UniFirst for their generous donation of gloves, aprons, and hairnets. These essential items will make a meaningful difference for our kitchen staff and the dedicated volunteers who help us prepare and serve meals to our clients and the broader community.

Our Daily Bread Program proudly offers one free meal to the community Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We are located at 520 Hydro Plant Rd., Farmington, NM.

We are truly grateful for the support that helps us continue serving those in need.
