Swift Sanctuary Trying to Bring Awareness and Preservation to
our 151 foot Chimney that is home to the
Largest Roosting site of Chimney Swifts in
North America. Our 151 ft.

These birds do not perch in trees, instead they hang on the inside of the chimney. chimney that is 116 years old is where hundreds of Chimney Swifts call home. Due to modern homes no longer having chimneys the habitat of the Chimney Swift is in the decline. The upkeep and preservation of our large chimney that is over a centuery old is vital to the Chimney Swifts of Michigan.
