Great news! We've been awarded a grant from CT Humanities for a website revamp as part of our overall strategic plan for marketing and engagement. Specifically, Farmington Historical Society is undertaking a project to overhaul, redesign and modernize our website, making it more mobile-friendly, functionally sound, accessible, and engaging for a wider audience. Major components include the digitization of select collections, creation of interactive online exhibits, and reimplementation of community-focused public programs. Preliminary work has already begun; our long term goal is to serve as a hub for virtual programming, interactive exhibits, and marketing.
