Felting with Charity is always so much fun for members and staff alike. We each made our own unique bookmark. It was the perfect project to introduce felting to those new to the hobby, but also give more experienced felters the chance to flex their creativity!🧶

🪷💐 Feeling fabulously floral this Farm Friday! 🌷🌹

Sometimes it's nice to step back from all of the vegetables, and just grow something beautiful. 🌻🌼 Growing this bouquet garden is a wonderful way for our members to watch their hard work turn into something spectacular! It also serves as a tranquil spot to sit and enjoy the scenery for those who can't get down in the dirt.🌸🌺

Fishing frenzy is in full swing at our pond! 🎣

The second Tony saw our pond all he could think of was fishing. He finally got the chance to throw a few lines out and bring a few fish in before he was joined by friends. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the great outdoors.🐟 Dakota and Tony reeled in their fair share of sunfish and catfish, and released them back to their home. We may set new size records for fish in our pond, but no one can take away Tony's record as the first fish caught in the Bridges' Pond!🎏

The 2026 Annual Conference in Saratoga Springs on June 10-11 will feature important and powerful sessions, including Unmasking Brain Injury, presented by Tiffany Jones, Associate Director of Day Services at Bridges for Brain Injury.

This session explores the unseen realities many brain injury survivors experience - fatigue, memory lapses, emotional changes, pain, and the daily effort it takes to navigate life after injury. Unmasking Brain Injury encourages honest conversations about the lasting impact of brain injury and the importance of acknowledging the challenges survivors face beyond what people see on the surface.

Learn more about this and the other impactful sessions at the 2026 Annual Conference, Strength in the Journey, where survivors, professionals, caregivers, and advocates come together to share knowledge, experiences, and inspiration from across the brain injury community. https://bianys.org/2026-annual-conference/

There's still a few days left to support us by going to the Farmington CountryMax Stores and asking to buy a bale for Bridges! It's that easy, and we appreciate our friends at CountryMax Stores for once again partnering with us on this fundraiser!

We'd like to thank all of our amazing volunteers for coming out for United Way's Day of Caring again! So many projects were completed, but so many smiles and laughs were shared along the way. There's truly nothing better than seeing so many people donate their time. 💕

Who says weeding can't be fun! 🌾

Farm Club has their work cut out for them as we keep adding more garden beds to our farm. With rakes, hoes, and even shovels our team has been battling the weeds back. (Burdock roots, am I right gardeners?) We also made friends with this toad who has been in our garden all week, do you think we should name him? 🐸

We are so grateful for all the volunteers who joined us today as part of United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes ! Having so many eager volunteers made getting extra work done a breeze, and instead of one or two before and after pictures we have five! This doesn't include all of the extra cleaning, gardening, and general help they were able to provide. Sincerely thank you for all of your hard work!
