The 90th Hartford County 4-H Fair begins TODAY! We’re celebrating our 90th fair with family fun, exhibits, and tradition you won’t want to miss! The fair is located at the Four Town Fairgrounds, 56 Egypt Rd, Somers, CT. The fair hours are:

Friday, August 14th: 8:00 am - 9:30 pm

Saturday, August 15th: 8:00 am - 9:30 pm

Sunday, August 16th: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Admission: $7 | Seniors $4 | Military & Kids under 3: FREE

We need your help! Sign up for slots to volunteer at the Hartford County 4-H Fair! Volunteering opportunities start Monday, August 10th through Monday, August 17th. Volunteer during workweek, during fair weekend in a ticket booth, in the food building, 4-H store, 4-H kids tent or during clean up after fair. Congratulations to June on her selection to the National 4-H Hall of Fame! Thank you for your many contributions to UConn 4-H Hartford County.

Congratulations to June Zoppa on being selected as a National 4-H Hall Fame Class of 2026 Inductee.

June Zoppa is a lifelong 4‑H volunteer and leader with more than 52 years of service to Hartford County 4‑H. She has made a difference in the lives of UConn 4-H members and volunteers as a club leader, Hartford County 4-H Fair Association Advisor, Hartford County 4-H Advisory Committee Treasurer and Chair, and Hartford County 4-H Camp Board Trustee. She has also served in numerous state 4-H committee roles including chaperoning trips.

June will be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame this fall at the national ceremony.
