Congratulations to June on her selection to the National 4-H Hall of Fame! Thank you for your many contributions to UConn 4-H Hartford County.

Congratulations to June Zoppa on being selected as a National 4-H Hall Fame Class of 2026 Inductee.

June Zoppa is a lifelong 4‑H volunteer and leader with more than 52 years of service to Hartford County 4‑H. She has made a difference in the lives of UConn 4-H members and volunteers as a club leader, Hartford County 4-H Fair Association Advisor, Hartford County 4-H Advisory Committee Treasurer and Chair, and Hartford County 4-H Camp Board Trustee. She has also served in numerous state 4-H committee roles including chaperoning trips.

June will be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame this fall at the national ceremony.

Ready to become a UConn 4-H Boating Ambassador?
Youth ages 12–18 can earn their Safe Boating Certificate, learn boating safety and regulations, and help educate others about safe recreation on Connecticut waters.
Participants will:
⚓ Earn their Safe Boating Certificate
🛟 Learn boating safety and regulations
🏛 Visit the CT DEEP Boating Division in Old Lyme
📢 Create an educational display about safe boating
⭐ Be recognized at the Connecticut State Capitol as a Boating Ambassador
📅 Program runs April 29 – May 14 with a mix of online and in-person sessions.

The 4-H Sponsorship Drive is going strong! Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 to support the experiences that help our members build leadership skills and connect with our community.
