Thank you to Manchester Fire Department East Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Palmyra Fire Department for coming out Monday on such short notice. Monday night Crews broke into small “companies” comprising of interior and exterior members to complete full scale search and ventilation evolutions. At the same time our support members and newer members completed a back to the basics course comprising of hydrant operations and how to properly and safely operate ladders. Crews also took this time to learn how each department operates to further support our mission in protecting the residents of Farmington and surrounding districts. Thank you to our members who spent there Monday off building out our new maze and training building. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see more of the HOT evolutions taking place.

🚒 Congratulations, Josh! 🏆

The members of the FVFA would like to congratulate Firefighter/Trustee Josh Parker on being recognized by the Kiwanis Club as the recipient of the Farmington Victor Kiwanis Club Award for Exceeding Expectations for the next line!

Josh was recognized for his dedication, commitment, and continued service to our department and community. We are proud to have him as a member of our department!

It’s the last day of The Pumpkin Hook Carnival! 🎉

Today is a very busy day but we want nothing less for the last day 🎉

Here are today’s events:

Grounds open at 12:00pm
Chicken BBQ at 12:00pm
Kids costume parade at 12:30pm
Pay one price for rides from 1:00pm-5:00pm 6:00pm-10:00pm
Music by Rock Jester at 8:00pm
Grand Fireworks Display at 10:00pm

KIDDIE PARADE:

If you are participating in the kiddie parade please come to St. John’s Church on Church Ave to line up to march. Please be at the church no later than 12:15! Kids who come will receive a goodie bag with some sweet treats and a ride coupon.

Don’t forgot the Hometown Heroes concessions will be open from 1:00pm-9:00pm🎉

Big thanks to our neighbors over at the Palmyra Fire Department for being here all weekend with us making those amazing clams🎉🎪
