It's the last little breath of summer... and the beginning of a brand-new choir year.

FHS Choir parents- come hang out with us TONIGHT!

Join us at Omni Taproom in Rosemount from 5–9 PM for our All Choir Parent Mixer. Grab a beverage, order dinner from Omni’s menu, snack from our spread, and spend a little time getting to know the directors and the other parents you’ll be seeing throughout the year.

No meeting. No agenda. No need to stay all four hours. 😉
Just come when you can, stay as long as you’d like, and help us kick off the 2026–27 choir season together.

Whether this is your first year as an FHS Choir parent or you’ve been around long enough to know that concert season somehow arrives approximately 12 minutes after school starts… we’d love to see you.

Choir Camp 2026 was a huge success 🎵These singers are ready to lead our program with inclusivity, dedication, and joy!! Not to mention a detailed understanding of the anatomy of the larynx (iykyk). It’s about to be a fantastic year in FHS Choir- we’ll see you all soon in class or at a concert!

Parents of students in all FHS Choirs for the 2026–2027 school year are invited to join us for an All Choir Parent Mixer!

This is a great opportunity to meet our choir directors, connect with other choir parents, and start the new school year together.

Congratulations to Nathan Auge and Carson Springer, the recipients of the inaugural Megan Dimich Choir Culture Scholarship!

These two singers embody our culture by leading with kindness, pursuing excellence daily, mentoring younger students, and building community in our program. Nathan and Carson are a pair you can always count on, whether it’s to move some stairs really fast or to play the right pitch on the pitch pipe. They have left a legacy behind that will inspire students for years to come.

Nathan will be attending St. Olaf College, with a Major in Kinesiology, Minor in Psychology, on the Pre-med Track. He participated in Concert Choir, New Dimension, Vocal Jazz, Vox, Cabaret, and Theater. His favorite piece in choir was “Kaléjs Kala Debesis”.

Carson will be attending Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a major in Exercise Science, Pre-Physical Therapy Track. He participated in Concert Choir, New Dimension, Vocal Jazz, Vox and Cabaret. His favorite piece in choir was “You Will Be Found”.

🎵Concert Recap🎵 what a special way to end the year!! We are so proud of all our students 🤍 From “a barbershop haircut” to “shamona” to “good vibrations”, we sang it all! Choir culture is alive and strong in Farmington.

Farmington Choirs singing the National Anthem at the Minnesota Twins game ⚾️🤝🎵 What a fun way to wrap up the school year! We’re excited to be joined by some incoming 9th grade singers. The future of Farmington Choir is sounding pitch perfect 😉

✨Celebrating 20 Years ✨ This week, in addition to our Awards Concerts, we took time to honor a big milestone for Ms. Dimich- she has been teaching at FHS for 20 years!! Her loving kindness, passion for students, and musical excellence has changed the lives of thousands of students and families in the Farmington community. We are so grateful to her for all she has done and will continue to do here!

The Farmington Choir Booster Club has launched the Megan Dimich Choir Culture Scholarship to give financial support to two seniors each year who represent the values of choir culture. We are excited to support our students in this new way!

Additionally, students surprised Dimich by throwing a “Dimich’s Favorite Things Party” including everyone wearing her favorite color, eating her favorite snacks, and one student made her a custom cake with everyone’s favorite things about Dimich on the top.

Safe to say it has been a special week here in Farmington Choir 🧡🖤

Awards Concert tomorrow night!

Come see our choirs on Thursday, May 28th perform some pretty complex, moving, and fun music- plus medleys featuring these artists and more!

We are so proud to announce to the FHS Band and Choir members that have been selected the Minnesota All-State Music Program, the highest achievement possible for high school musicians in our state!

All-State involves a rigorous and highly-competitive audition process and we are so proud of these hard-working students. Please congratulate the following musicians:
