We are excited to welcome Lisa to the Sexual Assault Services of Northwest New Mexico team!

Lisa previously worked as a Victim Advocate, supporting survivors of domestic violence and juvenile victims. She also served as a Parent Liaison for a local school, helping strengthen communication between families and schools to support student success. In addition, Lisa worked as a 911 Dispatcher with two different law enforcement agencies.

Her experience, compassion, and dedication to serving others make her a wonderful addition to our team. We are excited to have her with us as she continues to advocate for survivors, build meaningful connections in our community, and make a positive impact!

It’s wonderful to see so many community organizations come together to celebrate their successes and recognize the incredible work they do. Today, we honor the courageous Navajo Code Talkers whose bravery, resilience, and service helped shape history.

Using the Navajo language as an unbreakable code during World War II, they played a vital role in protecting our nation while preserving and honoring their culture.
