Farmington Municipal Schools is proud to announce that Mr. Joshua T. Adair will be the new Principal of Heights Middle School.

I look forward to working closely alongside our students, staff, families, and the entire Heights community to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to foster a school culture defined by meaningful relationships, high expectations, and opportunity for all.” – Joshua T. Adair

Mr. Adair began his career in education in 2014 with the Bloomfield School District, where he served as a coach and substitute teacher. He went on to gain valuable experience in Nederland and Beaumont, Texas, teaching middle school history while also coaching football. His career has since spanned a range of roles, including teaching Physical Education at the middle and high school levels, coaching football and powerlifting in the Cuba Independent School District, and teaching social studies in Kirtland. Most recently, Mr. Adair has served as Assistant Principal at Heights Middle School, where he has continued to demonstrate his commitment to students, staff, and the broader school community.

A huge congratulations to our band program and Mr. Jackson is in order. Band had there final concert performance of the year last night, and it was phenomenal!

Our band had a great day at the ballpark today, where they performed the National Anthem for the Albuquerque Isotopes home game alongside James Monroe Middle School! Congratulations to Mr. Jackson and our Advanced Band on an outstanding performance!

Come see our band program perform their final concert tonight, 6pm at PVHS!
