United We Dance NWA We believe that friendships and connections should have no barriers. It is our goal to provide a monthly free dance where we can celebrate our abilities!!!

At United We Dance NWA, we’re passionate in throwing amazing disability inclusive events. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, all our dances throughout the year are free to attendees. We have a few special themed dances throughout the year including: Hawaiian Luau, Razorback Red, and our smash-hit the Fall Formal. Although the dances are themed and you’re free to dress to fit the theme, there is no

requirement to take part in themed attire. Our team at United We Dance NWA emphasizes that as long as you’re comfortable, having fun, and within the dress code, you’re welcome at our events.

If you haven't gotten your picture that was taken by the photographer Travis, you can pick it up at Northwest Athletic Club - nacgym in Springdale if your agency doesn't have it. It's located on Buisness 71 in Springdale next to the Springdale Country Club. We left pictures at Arkansas Support Network , Elizabeth Richardson Center (ERC), and Life Styles, Inc.. Pathfinders and Outcomes didn't take any and Friendship Community Care was closed.

We Now Say Good-bye

United We Dance was founded in 2013 and in the last decade we have loved providing dances in a safe environment for adults with disabilities, their friends, families, and the community. It has been a joy and labor of love for the Rocko and Durham families!

We have decided at this time to end the dances and start a new chapter in our lives. We hope that you have enjoyed the dances and made as many wonderful memories as we have! We appreciate your participation and have enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones!

This decision wasn’t easy, and is an agreed personal one by both families. We all have new projects and endeavors that we want to pursue. We are grateful to the many people who have donated their time to volunteer to make the dances fun and safe these many years. Thank you to the many businesses and people who have been generous sponsors to keep this a free dance for the community. A special thank you to the Fayetteville Arkansas Police Department for partnering with us for many years.

We will be keeping our page up for now so that you may download your favorite pictures and look back over the years at the memories you’ve made with us. We will still be printing and distributing the last group of pictures.
