We are proud to announce that we were awarded $39,411.67 through the 2026 Volunteer Fire Grant Fund. This is a matching grant, so in total we will have $78,823.34 to spend on necessary equipment. We would like to extend our thanks to NC OSFM for the support.

Are you or someone you know interested in serving your community? Maybe you feel lost and want to find a sense of belonging and family. The firehouse is the place for you! Come on down, grab an application, and see if it's for you. We are a department with big plans for the future and would love to have you.

⚠️Requirements⚠️
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must live within 11 miles of the station
• Must possess a valid NC driver's license
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test

Do you want to serve your community and be part of the department but help in other ways besides fighting fires? If you have what it takes, reach out to become our Fire Department Chaplain. In this role, you may be called to serious scenes or debriefs to assist our members through tough times, and when times are good, you can still come on down on Mondays and hang out with the crews, even helping during events.

Please join us in celebrating International Firefighters Day, as we honor those who paved the way, those who continue these traditions today, and those who will follow.

We would like to extend our appreciation to every member of the fire service who has served or is serving today, and we would also like to extend a special welcome to those who are to come.
